This year's PTA Reflections contest theme is "Diversity Means..."

The Reflections program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Every student at Grapevine Elementary is encouraged to create and submit a work of art in one of the following six areas:

· Dance Choreography

· Film Production

· Literature

· Musical Composition

· Photography

· Visual Arts

Projects will be judged by professionals and will have a chance to advance to district, state, and national competitions. All students will be recognized for their efforts, and their projects will be displayed at school.

Reflections entries are due the first week of November. Look for a flyer in your child's take home folder soon to explain details. Note that each entry must be the original, independent work of one student, and must be based on the theme "Diversity Means..."  If you have any questions please contact Blanca Casanova.
