Staff Appreciation organizes various events throughout the year to show our fabulous staff at Grapevine Elementary how much we appreciate all they do for our children.  Some of these events include providing treats, baking pies at Thanksgiving, providing soups and salads, etc. In May we celebrate Staff Appreciation Week.  We pick a theme and decorate the Teachers’ Lounge, and we provide various food throughout the week.  There are several different ways to volunteer to help with Staff Appreciation:

Sign up for the Baking Committee - the Baking Committee provides food for the teachers throughout the year.  While some of the food is actually baked, a lot of it is purchased.  To participate on this committee, you don’t have to know how to cook – you just need to be willing to provide food for the teachers throughout the year.

• Sign up for the Decorating Committee - the Decorating Committee decorates the Teachers’ Lounge and helps with clean-up for these various events throughout the year.
• Email me and let me know if you are able to secure any great gifts (restaurant gift certificates, etc) that we can use in drawings for our staff at these events.
• Email me any great ideas you would like to share.
