The #1 reason to join the PTA is to support YOUR child and YOUR child’s school- Grapevine Elementary. We are asking you to become a member of GES PTA this year! The PTA’s Vision is to make every child’s potential a reality! Our goal is to have every child at GES represented by a paid member of PTA. GES PTA dues are only $8.50 and include a student directory. Beyond the student directory, your dues help fund the majority of programs at GES like Reflections, Arts in Education, Starbright Express, beautification and maintenance of GES playgrounds and many capital improvement funds. As a PTA member, you can choose how much you would like to be involved- as easy as just making a financial donation, volunteering a few hours, chairing a position or being a part of a committee. Your commitment is up to you and your time.
Greenback is a successful program that we started at GES a few years ago. Basically we are choosing to make a onetime a year donation to GES PTA instead of door to door fundraising. This will allow the PTA to be able to keep 100% of the funds raised instead of 50% going to a catalog product company. So we are asking for a $31.50 donation for each student. Check with your employer to see if they will match your donation. GES PTA is a 501c3 organization which qualifies for company charitable donations. Be sure to pay your dues separately from your Greenback donation. So check with your employer and double your donation!
